Microwave Signal Generator Features 100-µs Switching Speed
The MG37020A Microwave Signal Generator uses a VCO-based hardware architecture to achieve switching speed of 100 µs/point while maintaining low phase noise of typically -101 dBc/Hz at 10-kHz offset at 10 GHz. It covers a frequency range of 10 MHz to 20 GHz in 0.001- Hz steps and features +23 dBm high output power at 20 GHz and high-performance pulse modulation to conduct signal simulation of pulsed signals.
The MG37020A uses an XP Professional platform, has a color touch-screen display, and supports a mouse and keyboard. Enhanced connectivity with USB 2.0 Device and Host, Ethernet LAN, IEEE 488, GPIB, and RS-232 Serial I/O is standard. The pulse modulation and ultrastable phase track options address specific testing requirements.
