TechMESH Knitted Wire Gaskets create shielding effectiveness up to 130 dB in the E-field and up to 80 dB in the H-field. They can be developed in four standard profiles and 48 sizes. Each profile can be ordered in either an all-mesh or elastomer-core configuration. The gaskets are available in tin-plated copper-clad steel, Monel, and aluminum. Gaskets can be supplied on 25-foot spools or cut to specifications.

A robotic spray process has been developed to apply conductive coatings to battery current collectors, fuel cells, and other energy storage devices that require low-resistance coatings. Conductive coatings can improve electrical contact between active materials and the current collector and provide oxidation and corrosion protection. The robotic equipment features an articulated spray head that delivers uniform coatings from all angles. The equipment can spray both epoxy and water-based coatings.

RoHS-compliant EMI filters with optional surge suppression are available for 100-120 or 200-240 line voltages and can be mounted with ¼” quick-connect terminals. Encapsulated construction complies with EN 133200 and UL 1283; a UL94 V0 plastic enclosure increases protection against electrical shock. Leakage current is reduced by eliminating the capacitor to earth ground connection. Standard models incorporate 5.0-mH common-mode inductors suitable for up to 6-A service. Options include bypass capacitors for increased differential-mode noise rejection and MOVs to protect against line transients.

The 773 Wrist Strap and Ground Monitor provides workstation monitoring in applications with two metal ground requirements. It measures ground impedance in automated tools while they are in operation. The real-time communications and audio alarm allow for immediate shutdown if impedance values exceed facility standards. Measurements are ANSI/ESD S6.1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliant.

The EM-6003 Antenna Kit features three passive antennas in a rugged and deployable package. The EM-6857 club provides omnidirectional coverage over a frequency range >20 MHz to 40 GHz. EM-6945 vector is a hand-held LPA offering directionality and sensitivity over the 500-MHz to 25-GHz frequency range. The EM-6904 hockey-puck whip antenna supplies coverage down to 1 kHz and extends >100 MHz. The kits also can be custom configured to hold customer-supplied equipment.

CHO-SEAL 6502 and 6503 nickel-plated aluminum (Ni/Al)-filled silicone and fluorosilicone elastomers offer shielding effectiveness after exposure to high and low humidity, temperature cycles, and salt/fog environments. The gasket materials are available in molded and extruded forms and a silicone, thermally cured, robotically dispensed form-in-place version. The filler technology performs well when used against aluminum flanges with MIL-C-5541 trivalent or hexavalent, Class 1A or Class 3 chromate conversion treatment. The Ni/Al particles reduce the aluminum flange galvanic corrosion activity by a factor of two.

The ITS 6006 performs radiated EMC emissions testing over an 80-MHz to 6-GHz frequency range. The system comprises an RF signal generator with AM and PM modulators, RF switches, inputs for up to three external power meters, EUT monitoring and control ports, amplifier control outputs, and software for EMC testing. Multiple EUTs can be monitored and controlled via four TTL outputs and eight inputs. An integrated switch network allows the RF signal generator to be switched to one of up to four directly connected power amplifiers. Two additional RF switches can be used to combine two amplifier output paths into a single antenna connection.
