Upgraded Platform Facilitates Test System Development
Proligent™ 4.0, newest version of The Test Engineering Platform™, features unique identifier management and advanced remoting to help manage test lifecycles. The update enhances compatibility with National Instruments’ TestStand 4.0 by providing a direct application programming interface for accessing infrastructure, asset, and context-specific information that test sequences and hardware require.
Version 4.0 incorporates data buffering to safeguard against network failures and latencies. The central server limits data transfer, releasing information only after remote station nodes acknowledge that information has been fully received.
The new identifier management capability enables engineers to generate a distinct product ID, such as a MAC address or serial number, for each unit or subcomponent under test. This functionality ensures that products can be tracked independently, even when test systems are deployed to multiple manufacturer or EMS provider sites.
