RF Test Solution Supports 4x4 MIMO Applications
The MIMO (multiple-input, multiple-output) RF test solution consists of the 2920 Vector Signal Generator (VSG) and the 2820 Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA), the 2895 MIMO Synchronization Unit, and MIMO Signal Analysis Software. The system supports 4x4 MIMO applications and several commercial standards including cellular, WiMAX, and WLAN and offers ±1-ns signal sampler synchronization, <1 ns peak-to-peak signal sampler jitter, and <1 degree of peak-to-peak RF-carrier phase jitter.
The 2920 VSG is available in two configurations with maximum frequencies of 4 GHz or 6 GHz and generates signals as low as 10 MHz. The 2820 VSA comes with 40 MHz of bandwidth in either a 4-GHz or 6-GHz configuration. The 280111 Software is a PC-based analysis tool for single- or multi-channel analysis of 802.11x signals and 4x4 MIMO channel configurations.
